Perry takes the lead on important security issue in our prisons!
The Houston Chronicle brought to light today that Governor Perry is not only more in touch with the issues facing our state but on the forefront of finding solutions.
Governor Perry “last November, sent a letter to all members of Texas’ congressional delegation asking for a cell phone jamming bill,” after a “Texas death row inmate used a smuggled cell phone to call state Sen. John Whitmire. A later search of the state’s prison system turned up hundreds of contraband phones, chargers and phone equipment. Other prisons around the country have also reported uncovering hundreds of smuggled cell phones.”

Blogosphere chatter favors Perry
The North Texas Conservative illustrates with their chart that chatter in the blogosphere favors Rick Perry over Kay Bailey. She did have a slight up take the week of her announcement tour, which might also have been due to the splash by Perry with the Kay “Bailout” Bucks.
